Welcome to ScanScript. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not collect any personal information. ScanScript processes all documents entirely ON YOUR DEVICE using Apple's Vision framework.

We do not collect:

- Your name or email address

- Your scanned documents or images

- Your extracted text content

- Your location data

- Any usage analytics

2. DOCUMENTS AND IMAGES

All documents and images you upload are processed 100% on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers. We do not have any servers that receive your documents.

Your scanned content stays on your device at all times and is never transmitted anywhere.

3. FREE SCANS AND SUBSCRIPTION

ScanScript offers 5 free document conversions to all new users. No account or payment is required for free scans.

After 5 free scans a monthly subscription of $4.99/month is required. All payments are processed entirely through Apple's App Store.

We do not collect or store any payment information. All billing is handled by Apple.

4. THIRD PARTY SERVICES

ScanScript does not use any third party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services.

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data in the 

first place.

5. CAMERA ACCESS

ScanScript requests access to your device camera to allow you to scan documents 

directly using the app.

Camera feed is processed entirely on your device in real time. No camera images or video are stored or transmitted anywhere without your explicit action.

You can revoke camera access at any time from your device Settings.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

ScanScript is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

7. DATA STORAGE

Your scan history including document titles, word counts, and dates is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

This data never leaves your device. You can delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the app.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.

Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
